Bandisoft’s Honeycam can be used to edit existing GIF animations and to create new GIF animations. Load a GIF/WebP file into the Honeycam and change the delay for all the frames, reverse the playback, add a transition, add a watermark, and more. If you don’t have a GIF to edit, you can create one from a series of images or from a video recording. Honeycam records whatever is on your screen and then turns the recording into a GIF animation.

Honeycam works with 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft’s Windows operating system. At the time of writing this, that’s any version from Windows XP up to Windows 8. To get Honeycam up and running on a PC that runs a supported Windows edition, you’ll have to complete a simple installation procedure.

Three buttons are presented on Honeycam’s interface. The following three buttons:
Record – resize, place a rectangular window anywhere on the screen; whatever is underneath said window will be recorded.
Edit – edit a recording or open an existing GIF/WebP file and edit it: resize, crop, add transition, adjust brightness, adjust contrast, apply a filter, set a custom delay time, reverse playback, add reverse playback frames, add text or image watermark. When you’re done editing the animation, you can save it as a GIF, WebP, or WebM.
Import – import images into Honeycam and turn them into an animation.

Honeycam is not free, it is only free to try. The trial version will put a “Honeycam” watermark in the upper left hand corner on any animation you save. To get rid of this watermark, you must purchase a license.

Record whatever is on your screen and turn the recording into a GIF, WebP, or WebM animation. Load an animation into Honeycam and edit it. Select multiple images and turn them into an animation. You can easily do all these things with Honeycam.

Pros

Honeycam works with 32- and 64-bit Windows editions; installing it is a simple matter. The interface is very, very easy to navigate. Use Honeycam to record your screen and turn the recording into a GIF animation. Load an existing GIF animation into Honeycam and edit it. Load images into Honeycam and turn them into an animation.

Cons

Trial limitations: watermark on output.
